⚖️ Strengthening Cooperation in Law, Trade and Investment while Building an International Legal Network
📅 During 21–25 June 2026, the CTAB Lawyers Association, led by its Executive Committee together with its members and legal professionals from Thailand, visited Beijing, People’s Republic of China, to carry out activities relating to knowledge exchange, study visits, strengthening relationships among legal professional organizations, and promoting cooperation in legal affairs, trade, investment and legal services between the Kingdom of Thailand and the People’s Republic of China.
✨ This visit received excellent cooperation from government agencies, legal professional organizations, and investment promotion organizations of the People’s Republic of China. The objective was to provide Thai legal professionals with the opportunity to learn concepts and experiences from leading Chinese legal organizations, establish international cooperation networks, and enhance the capabilities of Thai legal professionals to keep pace with the global economic and investment landscape.

🏛️ Attending The 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) 2026
The CTAB Lawyers Association delegation attended The 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) 2026, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), to study developments in global supply chains, future technologies, and investment trends in key industries, including modern automobiles, healthcare and medical services, clean energy, digital technology, and artificial intelligence (AI), while exchanging perspectives on economic and investment matters with Chinese government agencies and business sectors.

⚖️ Official Visit to the Headquarters of DeHeng Law Offices
The delegation visited the headquarters of DeHeng Law Offices in Beijing and participated in a knowledge exchange meeting on the topic “The Role of Lawyers in the Justice System.” The discussions covered law firm management, cross-border legal services, the development of the legal profession, and approaches to strengthening legal cooperation between the Kingdom of Thailand and the People’s Republic of China. This marked another important step in connecting international law firm networks.

✍️ Witnessing the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
The CTAB Lawyers Association delegation served as witnesses to the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the CTAB Lawyers Association and the Beijing Lawyers Association to promote cooperation in academic activities, lawyer exchanges, professional capacity development, and the establishment of cooperative networks between the legal professional organizations of both countries.
⚖️ Study Visit to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC)
The delegation visited the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) to study the approaches and procedures for resolving international commercial disputes through arbitration, while exchanging legal experience and approaches to promoting the use of arbitration in resolving international business disputes, which will benefit the development of the legal and investment systems of both the Kingdom of Thailand and the People’s Republic of China.

🎤 Co-organizing the Academic Seminar “New Smart Enterprises Going Global Service Salon”
The CTAB Lawyers Association, together with BNRSC Beijing and BNRSC Thailand, co-organized the academic seminar entitled “New Smart Enterprises Going Global Service Salon” at the CBD International Financial and Commercial Service Center, Beijing.
The seminar featured presentations and panel discussions on Thailand’s Investment Policies for 2026, investment opportunities for Chinese enterprises in Thailand, key legal issues for foreign investors, and legal service approaches for Chinese enterprises investing in Thailand. The event was attended by representatives from government agencies, business sectors, legal professionals, and entrepreneurs from both countries.
🌟 This visit was not merely an overseas study visit; it was also an important platform providing Thai legal professionals with the opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities, exchange knowledge, and strengthen the confidence of international legal organizations that Thai legal professionals are well prepared to serve as legal, trade, and investment partners on the global stage.
🤝 Throughout the mission, the CTAB Lawyers Association delegation established strong relationships with legal professional organizations of the People’s Republic of China while laying the foundation for future cooperation in knowledge exchange, professional development, and the promotion of trade and investment between the two countries on a long-term basis.
🏯 In addition to the academic and professional activities, the delegation also visited significant historical and cultural sites in Beijing to learn about the history, way of life, and identity of the People’s Republic of China, as part of strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of both countries.
